Truma Breaks Ground on North American Headquarters

Truma Corp. broke ground on a 44,000-square-foot building to house the company’s North American headquarters at 2800 Harman Drive.

Truma supplies services and products to the recreational vehicle industry.

According to information from the company, the building will have a warehouse, two service bays, a climate chamber to test RVs and installed appliances, along with a two-story office.

According to Gerhard Hundsberger, president and CEO, “The founder of Truma, Philipp Kreis would be pleased to know that the company he started and named in honor of President Harry S. Truman has grown so much in North America that we are now building a headquarters in Elkhart 70 years later.”

Hundsberger added that the building will be constructed by Nuway Construction of Goshen. The project is expected to be completed in August 2019.
